I hired John to do complete the entire interior package of trim, doors and cabinetry for a major renovation we underwent at our home in Delaware. They installed detailed ceiling trim, scribed custom crown and base trim and furnished and installed custom cabinetry and doors. Every detail was perfect and the joinery was some of the most professional I have ever seen. Furthermore they had the utmost respect for our home and kept one of the cleanest jobsites I have ever seen.

I’d like to take this opportunity to give a hearty recommendation for the work that was done for me by Foggy Ridge Interiors. In Feb, 2017 we had our custom kitchen cabinetry installed by John Kauffman’s crew. This was custom built cabinetry; so the installation needed to be perfect. Luckily John sent Jake Kauffman and Marlin Beiler. From the start it was obvious that John and Marlin were very experienced and could easily handle the install. They actually were early each day and they thoroughly cleaned the area prior to leaving each day. I had the opportunity to interact with them on their second day.

As an amateur wood-worker myself I appreciated their skill even more. In particular, Marlin’s attention-to-detail was amazing. He was very careful to make sure everything was level, plumb, and perfect. He even made a few changes on-the-fly as minor issues came up.

After our basement was entirely destroyed by flooding the team at Foggy Ridge were absolutely fantastic. They listened, they made promises about what they'd deliver and when, and then they stuck to their promises. Fantastic. The quality of the work is outstanding - my wife and I have decided that the flood was actually a blessing because our guest room is finished so much better than it was in every way! We highly recommend these guys - will use them again 100%.Oh... spoiler alert!!! The beautiful wooden cheese board they gave us at the end is already in general rotation in our kitchen!

We were looking into having our basement finished. After comparing some local companies we found Foggy Ridge. The cost was much more reasonable and lower than others. The quality of work was amazing. Foggy ridge performed the installation of furniture grade walnut custom kitchen cabinetry in a $100K remodel we had done by them. The work was first rate, professional and on time with minimal construction mess. We are doing the upstairs master bedroom and bath and will reachout to them for that project because they are not only craftsman they can think outside the box for any problems that may come up. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for any job.

The Foggy Ridge Team executed a sensitive restoration of our 65+ year old Mid-Century custom cherry kitchen. The work required the careful disassembly / removal of the kitchen cabinets for refinishing and the removal of many layers of old flooring. The team made needed sub-floor repairs and then installed a new custom, random width, quarter/rift sawn oak floor in the kitchen and bedroom. They blended the new floor (milled from logs harvested on the property!) seamlessly into the existing hallway floor after which they reinstalled the refinished cabinetry and new custom period counter tops and back splash. They delivered a kitchen that looks better than the day it was initially installed, on time and on budget. Many thanks to the entire team for a job well done.

A new staircase was installed in our church parsonage and I was attempting to find a handrail to match the existing handrail that was at least 150 years old. I literally spent 2 whole days searching for a rail to match. I was able to locate some possibilities online, but the timeline exceeded 10 weeks and the shipping costs were $200-$300. I called every millwork shop in Lancaster County and I could not find a handrail without waiting 10-12 weeks. Fortunately the contractor installing the stairs told me to check Foggy Ridge Interiors. Foggy Ridge Interiors was able to make a custom length handrail to match the existing rail in the home in a timeline of 2.5 weeks. The handrail came out perfect. The price was less expensive than what other millwork shops in the area quoted, and more importantly the handrail and project were completed on time. The personnel at Foggy Ridge Interiors were professional, friendly, and easy to work with

Foggy Ridge refinished our master bathroom as well as our 1700sq foot basement. They were excellent to work with during the process. They were very kind, trustworthy and easy to work with to develop our plans. They were very willing to make changes in short notice in order to make our vision come to life.
